Tutorial: How to silhouette
Moçada I decided to post a tutorial how to make silhouettes with Illustrator or Corel Draw.
There are many ways to do this, it is possible to find plugins ready for this.
We go to the step by step:
1 - Choose the picture:
I chose this picture, I found randomly on orkut from someone who does not know, but here will only be used for learning the technique. I chose this picture that are not to be identified back in the tutorial, but you can use a picture that is in front.
The interesting thing is that if more than one person, that is well separated for becoming well-defined profiles.
2 - Choose the software of your choice, but the tutorial teach using Illustrator and Corel Draw.
3 - Import image
Corel - Open a new file (CTRL + N) and then go to the File menu> Import (CTRL + I);
ILLUSTRATOR - Open the right image (CTRL + O).
- Create a layer (layer) for the new silhouette.
4 - Select the tool
Corel - Pen Tool (Pen Tool)
ILLUSTRATOR - Pen Tool (Pen Tool)
The use of this tool is for drawing a free hand, and will score points, so the key here.
5 - The design
In both the software process is the same, you should go with the contour marking pen, for easy viewing of what is done, place red edge to make a high contrast with the figure of the fund and complete transparency. Once we have something like the figure below:
Remember that the more points, more accurate is the image, you can still leave more the curves more pronounced in Corel, through the tool FORM (F10).
6 - Filling
Just now completed the outline and design with black. You can increase, causing a gradient in contrast to the fund and other things. The basic design is that, below are some examples of profiles that are made by the web and many of the outdoor life.
